Is there some sort of Konad plate specific for eyeshadows or what?How to do this eye makeup (photo inside)?
It's pretty simple if you haven't all ready found it, you pretty much just put a orange/goldish eye shadow all over or jus to the crease and put a darker color on the crease, and then take a felt tip liquid eye liner and make little c's and opposite c's kind of into a circle shape and then take a brown eye shadow and fill in the spots.

What kind of eye makeup should i use?
i wear the same makeup every day, and its just so boring!
i want to try something new, what makeup do you think would suit my eyes?

What you can do is this.
1.Put on clear lip gloss
2.put on some grey, silver eye shadow
3.line your eye's with black eye pencil.
if you like liquid eyeliner better, to soften up the look, after you apply the eyeliner, rub a light coat of black eye shadow accross the liner.
4. Put some black mascara on the top lash only.
And there you have a really pretty look! and anything on your will look pretty!

It looks like she used some liquid liner to make a sort-of fine line around her eyes. You'll notice that it gets a lot thinner around the tear duct, and she might've closed the lines from the top and bottom on the corner for a sort of cat-eye look, but I can't really tell there.
Then it looks like she took some black eyeshadow and blended a bit of it below her lower lashes to make them look fuller, and the same on the top. Might've used another color above the black, and then kind of a cream color for the browbone.
She curled her lashes, looks like a curl at the very base, then middle. If you have eyelash primer {that white mascara stuff} or just some white eyeshadow or powder, put that on your lashes first. Use one light coat of mascara and wait for it to dry, combing through it with either a toothbrush that is no longer in use or an eyelash comb {which are like, two dollars at drugstores}. Then do the second layer, and the bottom ones.

then apply nude lipstick, and clear lipgloss ontop.

I totally agree with the gold shadow comment - that makes your eyes look bluer. And purple eye shadow makes those blue/gray/green eyes look greener. But I've also gone to work without ANY makeup and they still POP with amazing clarity. It's rare, but people never forget it. Report Abuse

but anyway, purple eyeshadow should bring out the green in your eyes, while browns and earth tones will make them seem more blue. burgundies and pinks will most likely make the gray stand out more. these are just some suggestions. just try to experiment with what you like best. ;)

Unless you have SUPER dry skin I would not use baby oil as an eye make-up remover. Baby oil is obviously very oily and can cause major breakouts around your eye area.

I literally sit with this book open on my vanity and try to copy the shadow placement while doing my make up. A huge bonus to owning the book rather than using a website, in my opinion. And, if I do say so myself, I get good results from my practise and efforts and compliments on my make up from others.
The second book I really like is ';Plastic Surgery without the Surgery'; by Eve Pearl. She's an Emmy Award winning artist and shows more than just face make up. She also demonstrates covering body flaws, tattoos etc. I believe she has a few video demos on You tube...check it out.
I can tell you from experience and after having taken a professional make up course myself to be a make up artist, all I can say is practise, practise, practise and blend, blend, blend!

I use the MAC a blue color [star by night] it really allows your eye color to pop also a purple. [for a dramatic image]
But, putting on black eyeliner, a dark forest green eye shadow isnt bad also it gives more of a mysterious look though.
Butter Pecan in the cream shadow is good, for the natural side and will look good with the brown eyeliner (:

I use the MAC a blue color [star by night] it really allows your eye color to pop also a purple. [for a dramatic image]
But, putting on black eyeliner, a dark forest green eye shadow isnt bad also it gives more of a mysterious look though.
Butter Pecan in the cream shadow is good, for the natural side and will look good with the brown eyeliner (:

Well I can tell you If you have got eyes like that you have got it made lady! cause all you need to do is a little eye pencil of dark brown cause that looks more natural than you smug it a little curl lashes a little use just a hint of color on you lips a little hit of mocha blush and you could use that mocha lightly just under you brow the outer part and that is all . You'll be knocking them out .

I am the same as you.. pale blonde, green eyes and freckles. I love earth tones on my skin. Light glittery browns and rusty reds are great. I generally use darker browns from middle to far edges of the crease in my lids, a light, almost white pink on the middle to inner corner of my lids, red dish brown above the crease and the same almost white shade right under my eyebrows. Then I apply a thin line of liquid liner above upper lashes and drag it out slightly, creating a minor cat eye effect and then I curl my lashes and apply mascara. My husband loves it.
Almay also makes a cool eye shadow product for every color eyes. I have their product for green eyes. It's meant to bring out the color of your eyes, to make them stand out. It is two shades of green and one shade of purple and it gives instructions on how to apply it. It's pretty cool.
For lipstick, I like to use Max factor 740/80. It's a light coffee tone, it lasts for over 24 hours and you never have to reapply and goes it great with my complection.

I absolutely adore Angelina's look, she's so classic and timeless.
First I would even out your skin tone with your favorite foundation, I personally prefer a mineral foundation.
The apply a shimmery cream/white eyeshadow on the browbone and then a nude color a little darker than your skin tone and apply it all over the top lid and crease.
Next apply a brown eyeliner to the inner half of the top lid, but apply it very close to the lashline.
Then, apply a black liquid eyeliner to the outer half of the eye, gradually thickening the line and extend this line a little passed to outer corner of your eye to give it a ';winged'; look. Keep in mind the more you extend passed your eye the more exotic you'll look.

I absolutely adore Angelina's look, she's so classic and timeless.
First I would even out your skin tone with your favorite foundation, I personally prefer a mineral foundation.
The apply a shimmery cream/white eyeshadow on the browbone and then a nude color a little darker than your skin tone and apply it all over the top lid and crease.
Next apply a brown eyeliner to the inner half of the top lid, but apply it very close to the lashline.
Then, apply a black liquid eyeliner to the outer half of the eye, gradually thickening the line and extend this line a little passed to outer corner of your eye to give it a ';winged'; look. Keep in mind the more you extend passed your eye the more exotic you'll look.

Should I throw away my makeup if I have pink eye?
I wore makeup one day and the next day I woke up with pink eye (I'm not sure where it's from and I don't think it's from my makeup because I've used it everyday with no problem). I've got a lot of makeup and I don't want to throw them away if it's not necessary. I haven't used any since makeup since waking up with pink eye and washed all my brushes. simple eye makeup is alright, its cheap and gentle, but the trick is if you wanna remove mascara get a cotton back and soak it in normal water and just put it over your eyelashes and hold it there for like 20 secs, and then it will just slide off with makeup remover!
When removing makeup, take a Q-tip which has been dipped in a non-oily remover and run it over the eyelashes to take off any remaining mascara.

You would be better off using a gentle eye makeup remover that doesn't sting, I like Almay. There is no oil to take away dark circles. You can try an eye cream with Vitamin K, but it won't make that much of a difference. Concealer is the best option.

With regular usage and exfoliation it can also make your pores much smaller as well since they will not produce as much sebum due to the outside souce of the jojoba oil.

What eye makeup look should i go for?
Okay I have brown eyes, dark red-brown hair which isn't auburn and a pretty pale skin tone. I want something that looks pretty natural but with a bit of an edge which won't make me look like a clown that suits my complexions. What eyeliner and shadow colors should i wear and how should i wear it? (Bottom, Top etc.)What eye makeup look should i go for?

Eye makeup for light blue eyes?
My eyes are a light blue/gray tone, and I'm just curious as to what color eyeshadow would suit them best? Also, I'm not sure how to do my eyeliner... I know there's the liquid eyeliner; is that for both the top lid and below your eye, or should it only be used below? I'm usually wearing a warm brown tone of eyeshadow, and use black sephora eyeliner along my bottom lashes. Any suggestions on how to improve? a quad of blues would look great on your eyes, i use liquid eyeliner on top and bottom and i think it's best. it stays in place all day and you can make perfect lines with it. and try experimenting on you eyeliners and eye shadows. Try out blues and purples. Eye makeup for light blue eyes?

Do your cleanse, tone and moisturize 20-30 mins before you apply make up so your pores get a chance to close n make up doesn't clog them, which can cause spots.
Apply make up in this order: concealer, foundation, powder, blusher, eye shadow, mascara, fake lashes (if desired), liner, eye brow pencil, lip pencil then gloss or lipstick.....(all only if necessary of course)
Tip:Fold a cotton pad in half and place under the eye while doing eye make up so the shadow doesn't fall onto the skin below and the mascara doesn't touch skin either........

This really depends on what eye makeup you are doing. Generally, its best to do your foundation first, like everyone else said it's a good base for all of your color. However, if you are going to use very dark shadow colors like black or grey, I recommend either doing that before the foundation or using something like a stickey note to cover the skin under your eyes because the dark shadows will fall down onto your skin and ruin perfectly done foundation as you will have to take it back off with makeup remover.

I start my eyes before foundation. Foundation itself isn't the best for getting your makeup to adhere to your face all day. Eye primers - products like Eye Spackle (I use this... a lot) - are made specifically for that purpose and do a fantastic job. If you're having problems with keeping your makeup throughout the day, I'd suggest you look around for a primer you like.
after, not only is it good for covering up blemishes you can use it as a base color. And second my mascara always clumps together because the stupid brush rubs against it -.-

For me, it depends on how i am doing my eye makeup that day. If i am going to do a super smokey eye, i will do eyes first then foundation in case i need to clean up any fall out. if it is a simple eye then i will do foundation concealer and everything else first.Should I do my eye makeup before or after foundation?

Do your cleanse, tone and moisturize 20-30 mins before you apply make up so your pores get a chance to close n make up doesn't clog them, which can cause spots.
Apply make up in this order: concealer, foundation, powder, blusher, eye shadow, mascara, fake lashes (if desired), liner, eye brow pencil, lip pencil then gloss or lipstick.....(all only if necessary of course)
Tip:Fold a cotton pad in half and place under the eye while doing eye make up so the shadow doesn't fall onto the skin below and the mascara doesn't touch skin either........

This really depends on what eye makeup you are doing. Generally, its best to do your foundation first, like everyone else said it's a good base for all of your color. However, if you are going to use very dark shadow colors like black or grey, I recommend either doing that before the foundation or using something like a stickey note to cover the skin under your eyes because the dark shadows will fall down onto your skin and ruin perfectly done foundation as you will have to take it back off with makeup remover.

I start my eyes before foundation. Foundation itself isn't the best for getting your makeup to adhere to your face all day. Eye primers - products like Eye Spackle (I use this... a lot) - are made specifically for that purpose and do a fantastic job. If you're having problems with keeping your makeup throughout the day, I'd suggest you look around for a primer you like.
after, not only is it good for covering up blemishes you can use it as a base color. And second my mascara always clumps together because the stupid brush rubs against it -.-

I tend to do it after foundation but I think its better to do it before because in case you mess up your eyeshadow and want to start again or it smudges, it might ruin your foundation when you're rubbing it off maybe. Try both ways. Whichever way you feel comfortable. Theres no right or wrong way.

ok you need three coulors say grey an black an white on your lower lid put on the grey then on the courner of your eye near the ear side start applyin the black in an up towards your middle of you lower eye lid about 3cm from your eyebrow when you get nearer the couner of youe eye nose side bring the black right down in the crease then put the white at the top up to the eye brow it looks sexy if you get it right looks good in blues to

I always go for natural browns for my eye shadow, sometimes darker browns when I am going out for more definition. THe more natural colors the more real you look. Also if you have a good brush you can use darker shadow to line your bottom eyeline.

THen take a shimmer, not sparkles.. just a shimmer and highlight under your brow line and a little bit where you put the darker color.Then in the corner of your eye put a llittle more shimmer on the top n bottom.

Definitely a no no. When you are getting sprayed you want to really be natural and have nothing on your face. Even when tanning it's best not to have anything on your face. Can you have eye makeup on while getting your face spray tanned?

aw ur pretty but i think you should try some reds or golds for eyeshadow and try using some colored eyeliner. try almay makeup they have specific color combinations for certain eye colors, skin tones, etc.

OMG! You're so gorgeous, I'm extremely jealous =] I think you'd look really great with a smokey/black/grey/blue sultry eye and nude lipgloss. Though, when you don't want to apply very much makeup- I could picture you with shimmery gold/bronze eye with a peach/coral gloss. You could pull off basically any makeup look so don't be scared to buy new makeup! Just look around %26amp; buy what ya like =] Good luck!
I saw this on Tyra the other day and she did this on a girl who looks just like you. Get a gel eye liner (Covergirl Gel Eyeslicks) that is either light blue or purple (both those colors would look great on you)
Use it as an eyeliner (staying close to the lashes) and your eyes will really pop!

aw ur pretty but i think you should try some reds or golds for eyeshadow and try using some colored eyeliner. try almay makeup they have specific color combinations for certain eye colors, skin tones, etc.

OMG! You're so gorgeous, I'm extremely jealous =] I think you'd look really great with a smokey/black/grey/blue sultry eye and nude lipgloss. Though, when you don't want to apply very much makeup- I could picture you with shimmery gold/bronze eye with a peach/coral gloss. You could pull off basically any makeup look so don't be scared to buy new makeup! Just look around %26amp; buy what ya like =] Good luck!
I saw this on Tyra the other day and she did this on a girl who looks just like you. Get a gel eye liner (Covergirl Gel Eyeslicks) that is either light blue or purple (both those colors would look great on you)
Use it as an eyeliner (staying close to the lashes) and your eyes will really pop!

What you can do is this.

It looks like she used some liquid liner to make a sort-of fine line around her eyes. You'll notice that it gets a lot thinner around the tear duct, and she might've closed the lines from the top and bottom on the corner for a sort of cat-eye look, but I can't really tell there.
Then it looks like she took some black eyeshadow and blended a bit of it below her lower lashes to make them look fuller, and the same on the top. Might've used another color above the black, and then kind of a cream color for the browbone.
She curled her lashes, looks like a curl at the very base, then middle. If you have eyelash primer {that white mascara stuff} or just some white eyeshadow or powder, put that on your lashes first. Use one light coat of mascara and wait for it to dry, combing through it with either a toothbrush that is no longer in use or an eyelash comb {which are like, two dollars at drugstores}. Then do the second layer, and the bottom ones.

couple times, then same again on the bottom of the eyes.
5) Curl those lashes, and use mascara remember not to
let lashes dry in between coats or else you'll be left with
clumps.
6) Use a pinkish/red blush on the apples of the cheeks.
7) Use a lip conditioner, otherwise known as chapstick
then apply nude lipstick, and clear lipgloss ontop.

I don't know anything about eyeshadow but your eyes sound absolutely lovely with those two colors. My opinion is don't use much of anything. They're going to look outstanding all by themselves.
