Is wearing liquid eyeliner (on the top of my eye) too much makeup for school?

im going back to school and i was wondering if wearing that would be considered to much makeup. no eyeshadow, or mascara.





maybe some lipgloss if i feel like it.

Nope. Thats actually a big plus in my school. Alot of girls wear it here. Just on the top and then pencil on the bottom. I have a friend that does that, with black eyeshadow. And then sparkles around the eyes with lipgloss. She is so pretty!

No, it should be fine. Just keep it light or you can just to a thin line. Play around with winging out your eyeliner a little to make it cute and playful. Hope this helps and good luck!
thats is so nOT too much!! u will look fine, dont put it on TOO thick, and maybe evn try eyeliner pencil for a softer look. its okay if u try eyeshadow. do go with lip gloss. then u'll be perfect. do wat u think is best for u and experiment on yourself before school starts so u know whicj look(s) suit u and fit u best!!!!

no i dont think so, ive worn it every day since the start of year nine, and all through year ten and my school is very strict. as long as its not winged out to your eyebrows and super thick it should be fine. just tone down the rest of your makeup aswell :)

I used to wear kohl pencil eyeliner, only on the top lids, but i actually found that that was more dramatic than a thin liquid line because the pencil smudged on my tiny asian eye crease :(. Make sure that the line is very close to the lashline and very smooth and even, bascially just tryng to fill in the gaps between each lash. Takes some practise, but you'll get there! Wear lipgloss and mascara too if you like, thats what i wear :)
Not at all! Just don't line to thick, but I really do recommend wearing mascara to complete the look. Mascara will open your eyes, and make you look more awake, and for school you want that, because I don't really bother with eyeliner, I just apply mascara and I'm done, because if I don't I'll look really tired.

Make sure you can apply the liner properly or else don't wear it at all. A little mascara is okay but if you don't want to use that yet then curling your lashes will give more of a pop!


Keep lips moisturized with chapstick.
I think it would be too much to wear it alone, like without mascara, it looks to harsh, but with just a touch of mascara I think it's fine ^_^
no, im 15 and i do it. but the trick is, make the eyeliner as thin as possible. it will still be noticable, but it wont be too overbearing or too heavy.

Also, son't do bright colored lipgloss. Natural make up is prettier.

no, but only if u make sure it is a nice thin, natural line. thick is too much (for school).


and lip gloss only would be nice with it, but i would recommend some mascara to go with it as well though... because if you are taking all that time with eyeliner and stuff, u might as well use mascara which is the ultimate basic. just use a natural looking black/brown mascara for school. i use l'oreal bare naturale in black/brown. its really good!
